About Me


Associate Professor and researcher at the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA), involved in undergraduate and graduate education (PPGCC & DCCMAPI). I hold a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Graduate Program in Computer Science at the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM, Brazil). I earned my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from UFAM and also have a technical high school diploma in computer science from the Nokia Teaching Foundation.

I am a CNPq Research Productivity Fellow – Level C. I was awarded a Research Productivity Grant from the FAPEMA (Foundation for Research Support and Scientific and Technological Development of Maranhão - FAPEMA).

My research interests include Software Engineering, Software Quality, Software Process Improvement (SPI), Empirical Software Engineering, Information Systems, and Computing Education.
